HPHA recently acquired several pieces of antique farm equipment from Liberty Properties Trust in Horsham, which we are now offering for sale.
The equipment had been parked in a field in Horsham and was discovered by a visitor from Buffalo. This person considered acquiring the equipment to restore, but then decided to make a cash donation of $500 to HPHA to save the equipment and move it to the Penrose-Strawbridge Farm. It turned out that Liberty Properties owned the field and therefore also owned the equipment and agreed to donate it to HPHA. It took us 2 years to get the paperwork straight and for the weather to finally cooperate - most of the pieces were frozen into the ground - but the equipment now belongs to HPHA.
Restoration of this equipment is beyond our abilities and the equipment dates to a later period than our restoration so we are offering this equipment for sale. It includes:
